SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The CIP/Loadout Operator will CIP (clean in place) all cream silos, fill lines and loadout lines. The CIP/Loadout Operator will perform aseptic loading of cream and condensed skim tankers. The CIP/Loadout Operator will perform accurate computer data entry for all cream and condensed skim loads into the AS400 system. The CIP/Loadout Operator will organize and direct all cream and condensed skim load outs.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices GMP).
  • Ability to operate equipment.
  • Must be able to work 12-hour shifts.
  • Requires the ability to read, hear, speak, and comprehend and carryout verbal and written instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

 Experience:

  • Knowledge of food manufacturing practices.
  • Basic computer and math skills.

 Education/Certifications:

  • High School Diploma, or G.E.D. equivalent. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Requires ability to stoop, bend, reach, lift and carry items between 20 and 55lbs.
  • Requires the ability to push and pull items occasionally more than 55lbs.
  • Requires ability to climb ladders and stairs including elevations of 30ft or more.
  • Requires ability to visually observe the condition of surroundings.
  • Requires ability to work in varying temperatures including hot working conditions.
  • Requires the ability to work in varying extreme hot, cold and wet temperatures and conditions.
  • Requires the ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Requires the ability to work safely with hazardous chemicals.
  • Requires ability to hear and speak.

 

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify deficiencies in Food Safety and/or Quality and are responsible for taking corrective action and reporting the issue to their direct supervisor.
  • Regularly inspect production lines to identify and resolve any quality issues.
  • Keep accurate and legible records.
  • Adhere to all UDA quality policies and procedures, reporting any nonconformity
  • Adhere to all UDA safety policies and procedures, reporting any nonconformity
  • Adhere to all UDA GMP policies and procedures, reporting any nonconformity
  • Other duties as assigned
