JOB SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

Dairy farms are at the core of everything we do - so we need them up and fully stocked with supplies. We are in need of a CDL Supply Driver to help distribute essential supplies to our partners so that the flow of milk can keep moovin' along. As a CDL Supply Driver you'll play a vital role in the tracking, loading, and delivery of vital supplies from our warehouse to our dairy partners. This role will also require helping out in the warehouse as needed when not driving. (95-98% driving, ~2% in-house warehouse duties)

 

Schedule: M-F 6am-3:30pm  (4 x 10 hour shifts possibly available)

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  ((All trucks have automatic transmissions)
Skills & Abilities: 

  • Must be able to work 5-8 or 4-10 hour shifts
  • General knowledge of mechanical and instrumentation equipment including lift gates
  • Ability to operate fork truck with certification
  • Requires ability to read, hear, speak, and comprehend and carry out verbal and written instructions

Experience:

  • Minimum one (1) year driving experience preferred with Class A CDL, Tanker and HAZMAT endorsements
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or delivery driver preferred

Education/Certifications: 

  • High School Diploma or Educational Equivalent
  • Truck Driving School certificate
  • Must have clean driving record with current MVR
  • CDL Class A with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements 

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires the ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Requires the ability to operate a motor vehicle for multiple hours at a time
  • Requires ability to walk and stand
  • Requires ability to stoop, bend, reach, lift and carry items up to 55lbs
  • Requires the ability to climb ladders and stairs of various heights occasionally
  • Requires the ability to push and pull large items up to 150lbs frequently
  • Requires the ability to safely operate equipment
  • Requires ability to visually observe the condition of surroundings
  • Requires ability to work in varying extreme hot, cold, and wet temperatures and conditions
  • Requires the ability to work safely with hazardous chemicals wearing proper PPE
  • Requires ability to hear and speak, occasionally in high time weighted average environments with elevated decibel readings (using appropriate hearing protection)
  • Requires the ability to safely operate a forklift occasionally 

 

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Prepare loads and make deliveries to various dairy farms throughout Arizona 
  • Receive and pull product into inventory and stock in appropriate locations
  • Oversee inventory levels
  • Drive, deliver, and unload various chemicals, tools, supplies, and equipment to dairies
  • Perform general site maintenance duties and clean and maintain warehouse
  • Wash company vehicles
  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly forklift inspections and maintenance as required by OSHA
  • Always maintain food safety and quality standards, resolving and/or reporting compliance issues immediately.
